Those of you who know me know that I don't believe in luck, coincidence or fate. It's all about intention and attraction. So yesterday and today I had several encounters with spirit walking and talking which I KNOW weren't just serendipity. I had lunch in the hospital cafeteria yesterday with a friend and pastor of a UCC church in Magnolia who "just happened" to be at Virginia Mason to visit someone - we ran into each in the cafeteria. I had a brief encounter in an elevator with a friend I haven't seen in years who "just happened" to be at VM and who had a friend whose cancer was cured by Jeffrey Grice and who validated we had a great physician.
Today I went out for a walk, seeking a green patch of nature, and happened upon Seattle University. I was walking through the gate when I saw in the distance a friend, Jen Sandoval, running toward me with a healing hug. She "just happened" to look out the window in her dorm and see me coming onto campus and ran down the stairs to catch me in time. We walked and talked and I got a personal tour of campus.
I am writing this post from home tonight because I will be facilitating a retreat tomorrow morning in Bellingham that was scheduled way before our lives changed so dramatically. On
the drive north I was cruising radio stations to try and stay awake. I just happened upon the "Delilah Show" (sp?). I normally find her quite grating and avoid the station, but tonight I felt compelled to stop the scanner. I immediately heard a caller say that two years ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and given two months to live. She was calling in to request a song celebrating her great health and vitality now. Coincidence? I don't think so. Spirit walking and talking today. We are well.

Dear Janet,
Whenever I woke up during the night I kept hearing the words, "You are called by name and held in the palm of God's hand".
Waking up this morning and reading your most recent entry makes my heart sing. The journey isn't easy but you are so held in the healing love of God who keeps showing up. I'm encouraged and am thankful for the reminders.

I woke up last night thinking of you and praying you were both getting the deep healing sleep you so need. In the dark of night I saw angels surrounding you. They were singing softly as they cared for each of you. Relax in them, for they care for us in ways beyond our understanding. I believe they call to one another as we seek to attract what we need. My angels called to your angels as I sought to attain a deeper, richer and more delicious life. (They are very glad I asked, I'm a lot more fun to care for now!)
Your relationship brings such joy to the people who love you. Thank you for sharing this very personal journey and for continuing to live such authentic lives in the midst of it.

Dear Joanne and Janet,
I just caught on to all that is happening. Hold to each other; we're all here, rocking you. I am a gardener, and keep imaging you both in yours, with your toes in the dirt, the sun pouring warmth all around and a bed of errant horsetail holding you afloat. Weeds are one great affirmation of the life force, surging and powerful. I can't get rid of my horsetail either. Perhaps it has kept going these million of years just to remind us that soft can be incredibly resilient. Ovarian cancer can be healed.

I thought I was late but I guess I was on time. I lit the candle as we started our ceremony for Joanne at 2:20 p.m. on May 31st. We sent prayers for her healing and deeper right relationship with herself, others, and life and it looks like she is well supported by so many. We are included in that.

I just wanted you to know that i was praying for you both as i was doing that thing i just learned Ti chi dont know where i learned that (ha! Ha!)
Hope things are going as well as it can be
all i have been doing when i pray is that all God's sunny light will surround the area that is in strife
and that any bad cells are in that light so they will cease to be dangerous to the healthy cells!!!!
