Good News Details

I am writing this from our PRIVATE room - and the room is at the end, close to the lounge.
Why is that significant? Well, the WIFI (only available in a depressing lounge) leaks into our room!! We must be doing something right. . .

Joanne is deep in sleep and looks great. I knew it was good news when Dr. Grice came into the conference room smiling and beaming. The news is that he found only "dead" tumors and was able to remove them all. He didn't have to resect her colon, she didn't need any blood, and the surgery was only 1.5 hrs. He was able to put in a peritoneal port for her future chemo. There was only one small lymph node involvement. He was quite pleased with himself!

My team (Kathleen, Carol, Sharon and Peggy) and I cried this time too, but it was tears of joy.
One beloved member of the team was absent this go-round. Rev. Jenn was taking care of her partner, who left the hospital today after surgery for a shattered tibia.

Joanne is mercifully pain free again due to the epidural pain meds. She has NO nasogastric tube this time and already there are good rumblings in her GI tract. Clear liquids tonight!

We are determined there will be no infection this time and that the rest of her recovery will be easy and quick.

Only glitch so far is that my brand new I-Pod apparently died today as I was playing music for Joanne. Apple is seeing me tomorrow to hopefully replace it. So, we are on a roll! Thank you again for your support and prayers. It was palpable down here in Seattle.

Such fantastic news for such a PRECIOUS SOUL and for all of you. I know you are doing Reiki and other healings on/for Joanne. Don't forget to do healings on yourselves, Team; the journey for caregivers can sometimes be even more challenging than for the "patient."
Joanne, my blessings in Reiki and much love are flowing non-stop. I can "see" that you are in a deep healing place and that ALL IS WELL. In addition to Reiki from others, when you awaken, it will be VERY important for you to Reiki yourself. You know, that common nemesis, SELF-LOVE :-)
HUGS and LOVE.

Now that's what I call some good news to sleep on . . . YEAH!

Delightful news! I'm so glad the powers that be are in alignment with our wishes for your highest good, Joanne, and that your highest good results in VICTORY!

I hear the new I-Pod was supposed to be released yesterday, so, perhaps you're being upgraded to the new model, Janet. The way they've talked it up on the Internet, it's expected to be quite the gadget. I'm no I-Pod Queen, as yet, but one day I'll have all my goodies on such a toy. May have to ask you for assistance???

This evening, after a full day of bill paying, errands, lawn mowing, playing with dogs, and then off to seek out the Beaver, we took in a most precious sky. The plentiful fluffy pillow clouds over B'ham were beautiful to behold. Z described them as tire track markings. He now adds that it looks like a monster truck drove through white mud in the sky.

As we watched a Heron dine on myriad frogs, we caught the sight of the sleek furred critter moving silently through the water. We could hear gnashing of teeth elsewhere, and eventually a quack of a duck. We then watched 2 mates swim and then settle upon a log, all the while, the Beaver decided to show us tricks. It got on a log and began to hike up the swamp grass quite a few times until something, perhaps a huge Bull Frog, jumped in the middle of the bog. It startled the Beaver and the Ducks, so they were off. We wondered if Beaver was gnawing on the grass to take it back to its den for a warm bed . . .

Dinner called, so, we bid them all farewell, and took in the beautiful pink sunset on those delightful tire tracks blazed into the sky.

At each turn of our afternoon of outdoor beauty (me upon the mower observing as Z drove us in gear one all over the land), I felt gratitude in my heart for all, for being outdoors, and for the joy in knowing that your surgery yielded good news . . . We celebrate you both, and all those in support of you . . .

Big hugs! Sleep well in your private room, and we trust you'll be home in a jiffy, back to your Feline Family, and all that fulfills you.

Love Tess and Z

I just checked into my hotel in Mexico and was ABSOLUTELY thrilled to read the details of last night's "good news"! Today you were both vibed from Toronto and Monterrey -- plenty of "Vibos Internacionales" to last the rest of the week.

Rest well, breathe deeply and know you are loved. "Los vibos" will continue unabated!

xoxo,
Ace
